Doing a bit of house cleaning on my non-audiophile gear. Up for sale is a 15 inch macbook pro (mid-2017) with 16G RAM, 512G storage, and the 2.9ghz quad i7. See the full spec list below. The laptop has Applecare+ until July 2020 and the keyboard replacement program is available until July 2021, and both of the $99 damage deductibles are still unused on the extended warranty. I recently sent it in for service where Apple replaced everything except the trackpad (screen, display, keyboard, battery and main board) so you're pretty much getting a new laptop. There are some small blemishes on the bottom that's from the cover that Apple put on there, otherwise the laptop is also in pristine cosmetic condition. I have the box and the original power adapter, and I'll throw in a 3rd party USB-C to C cable that supports 100w charging.

Asking for $1,300 Paypal F&F for Friends and Contributors only. I'll cover Paypal and shipping in the US. Potentially interested in trade for an ADX5000 (a bit of cash either way depending on condition) or Focal Utopia (I'll cover the difference).

If I may ask, are 2017 15" MacBook Pro eligible for free batter replacement in general? I know keyboard is ok, but not sure for battery.

There's no service program in place for the battery although in the past when I get a new keyboard Apple has always replaced the battery, and I suspect that even their techs can't get the pack out without rendering it unusable.

The standard out of warranty battery replacement fee is $199 across the product line.
