Used for about 3 weeks. I am the first owner. In great shape. Comes with all the original packaging.

This is the version with input transformers and upgraded coupling caps. 32 + 300 ohm taps.

Why'd you send it back to A&S?

 

I’ve been having ground loop issues that I haven’t been able to resolve. I don’t really wish to keep trying more options. I’m pretty confident that it’s not an issue with the amp, but I want to have Justin check it out to ensure that what the buyer is getting is in perfect shape.

Maybe a pricy solution like a power regenerator would solve things. I’m not prepared to spend that much more on my headphone setup.

 

This is a solid deal with shipping included. Amps & Sound just updated their website and this amp would cost $2550 new plus $50 shipping. The base Kenzie price also increased to $1700. From my experience you really do benefit from the input transformers; I had Justin make me input transformers in an outboard box for my base Kenzie. FWIW my Kenzie is dead quiet I have no ground loop issues. Good luck with the sale!

Is this an end game head amp? How does it compare to the BW?

 

Tremendous amp. End game? For me, yes.

 

After owning the Kenzie and BW2; yeah, mos def endgame. I want one.

 

Given this is going back to A&S, is the warranty updated/transferable?

 

That I am unsure of. I emailed Justin earlier today about that possibility. Will let you know when I do.

As far as warranty I was told by the buyer it's a lifetime transferable warranty. Said he knew this from buying a Mogwai SE a few months back. Haven't confirmed with Justin, but it's probably true.
