A set of Hifiman HE-6 (6 screw) headphones. $1,000 shipped (ground lower 48 US) including PayPal fees - or be nice and send me a paper check in the mail.

These are factory refurbished and have not been played since received from Hifiman. Aesthetic condition is 10/10. Sold with a 5 ft. Moon Audio Black Dragon cable with 4 pin gold Neutrik connector. The cables alone list for $280. This is a rare chance to get an as-new set of HE-6 headphones. They are box stock with no mods. Manual, velvet bag included. EDITED TO ADD (07 Aug 2020): Velour pads included. Picture added to linked gallery.

BACK STORY: I had a modded set of HE-6's that blew a driver. I sent them back to Hifiman for warranty repair. Not knowing how long the process would take, I purchased a modded HE-6 from a Friend here. When the Hifiman refurbs arrived, I put them back as spares. At the time this was done, they were no longer repairing customer 'phones, but were sending a refurbished replacement set which supposedly had a new matched set of transducers plus any aesthetic touch-up that was needed. These look as-new to me.

Curious - do you have a pic of the drivers (like if you remove the pads)? Wondering if they put 6SE drivers in there or older HE6 drivers when they did the refub, which I'm not sure if they're still producing or not. The 6SE driver doesn't have the bar across the middle of the magnet assembly.

Edit - yup, those are non-SE HE6 drivers!

I don't have a pic of the drivers, but I can take one. I have never disassembled them. This was done well before the SE came out. There was a dwindling supply of drivers as I recall, and for that reason it was uncertain at the time I sent them back whether a replacement pair would even be available.
