    Hi all,

I got a used ifi Zen One Signature from USAM because of the positive reviews of the Zen DAC v2 here. I agree with the positive reviews here, when using the USB input. I am not personally a fan of how it sounds with the SPDIF or optical inputs, which is what I bought it for. It also has a bluetooth receiver which does sound better than SPDIF/optical but is not of much use to me.

Ignore all of the above, after leaving it on for a few days the SPDIF actually turned around and sounded better than the USB input. This is a genuinely excellent DAC, multiple times while I’ve had it I’ve stopped what I was doing to just listen because there was something so arresting about the presentation that I could not just leave it as background listening.

Also I am now including a 4.4mm->dual 3-pin XLR adapter so this can be run balanced out of the box.

I’m asking $200 net to me, I will cover shipping.

I’m going to send it as I received it, in the original packaging with the power cable, RCA cables, and Bluetooth antenna. The original owner tossed the included USB cable for some reason. If you do want a USB-B to USB-A cable, I’ll throw in a Schiit PYST USB cable for an extra $10. And as I mentioned, now with a balanced adapter at no extra charge.

Friends/contributors only for now, and CONUS only as well. Thanks for looking!

It’s not a big deal, I got to try it and can add it to my mental list of DACs for comparison. Now I’m hoping to pass on a decent bargain to someone who wants a great USB DAC. :)

Updated the listing with my amended listening experience and added a balanced adapter cable for no extra cost. This is actually a really excellent DAC and I recommend trying it!
