FS: Local Pickup DMV, Elekit 8800 & Coherent GR-8 Monitors

Selling my Elekit TU-8800. It's a fully loaded build with all V-cap CuTF coupling caps, TKD pot, and takman resistors. Despite some harsh words on my part, it's a great little amp but I prefer the 8900. The speaker posts on the right are slightly loose but it otherwise performs flawlessly and looks great. Comes with some complimentary extras:

-Two full sets of NOS tubes. Except for a couple of very rare sets, you can pretty much choose whatever you want. Looking for boom down low and sparkle up top, the Tung Sol 6550 and Siemens ECC801S will give you 12 beefy watts of that. Searching for the finesse and beauty of a soul grabbing, heart rending, vocal performance? It doesn't get much better than a pair of old Brimar square getters and the French Neotron 6F6GT.

Last to go is are my Coherent Audio GR-8 monitors which were my daily drivers for over a year. These use very nice Radian coaxial drivers and are fairly efficient (95 db sensitivity). They sound pretty good with some of the lower power DHTs (45s, 2a3s ect.) but IMO really sing with upwards of 5W. As such, they pair extremely well pentode amps like the 8800. Couldn't find much feedback for these except this review:

Man those speakers, my gut says there special. I love the driver have heard it in the galante rhapsody and an early omega speaker.

 

FWIW, I liked them enough to gun for their 12' floorstanders.
