FS: op amp AD827SQ brand new sealed (attention XD05 PLUS owners)

This tip was recommended as the best by a guy on head-fi who had access to free opamps and tried 42 opamps in his XDO5 plus and said this was the best sounding by far.

I know, it’s a head-fi thread. But the user seems to have a head on his shoulders and on a whim I decided to try it. But then I changed course and decided to sell the XD05 PLUS and invest in a desktop rig instead.

They cost 50$ plus shipping but at least it’s a dual so you only need one in your XD05.

Can confirm. The AD827 was my choice for an I/V for a PCM1702 vintage DAC. Designed for TV gain, it works wonders for audio. And I only got an AD827JN, which is the lower quality of the SQ. Cracking good op amps.

 

Well that makes me regret not trying them out in the XD05 plus.
