Oh shoot, if I wasn't in escrow on a house sale and buying a new construction at the same time...

I think you should be able to sell them easily. If not, I may be another month before I am ready.

Ive been interested in these speakers for awhile now. What would be some proper amping options for these?

I haven’t heard the TB version, but with the Heil option I love them using a Freya S and a single Aegir.

IMO moar power is better with these, tighter control on that bass.

This is a great price BTW, GLWS

These speakers do not need a lot of power. They are quite efficient. What they do like is a high damping factor. To control the open baffle woofers.

So the Aegir that crazychile mentioned would be a good choice. Most First Watt amps are out (I tried DIY M2 and F4). Almost all tube amps have weak damping factors.

I am using a Pass Labs XA25 which has lowish class A watts but very high damping factor.

If they sell, I'll send you CAD and STEP files to get your own custom cut baffles, etc.

I could definitely see this. Using their woofers + my own full rangers, I get MUCH better results with bi-amping dual Vidars on the woofers and dual aegirs on the full rangers.

I need to finish my build with the Oris horns I bought from @purr1n once things are less crazy.

Ogodei, Maybe a combination of higher wattage and low damping factor works well?

I used 150 watt very nice Herron monoblocks with tube-like damping factor that sound excellent on Harbeth speakers and similar. The monoblocks worked poorly on the PAP speakers even though they have a lot of watts: flabby, no control.

The XA25 does have a lot of watts out of class A...

Anyone have any suggestions on crating/shipping services? Since these only ship unassembled, i'll have to get something made if I do sell outside my area

Bump. Shipping on these via uShip will run about 4-500, if anyone is interested in getting them farther afield

    Bump.

For those further afield, looks like I can package and ship these for about $400 domestically
