FS: Topping D90 DAC (Mint)

This unit has been used for about 50 hours - just to evaluate it. As an SBAF member, you probably won't like it - but if you want to let your own ears decide, here's your chance! I purchased this new for $700 about a month ago.

Mini Review: Bland, but in a half decent way. This DAC has no discernible sonic character, and a very neutral(RME ADI-2 like), uncolored presentation. That will sound flat, lifeless and boring to most of you. In terms of imaging, stage width is good, but depth is a bit underwhelming. Good detail retrieval, but this is offset by the image having a somewhat 2D quality. The built in volume control is super nice, and very handy for a system where you don't want a passive or active preamp.
