        A few quick observations

        1) Sorta weird fit, but quickly adaptable. Comfort is rather on the better side.
        2) Not nit-picky with upstream but decently sensitive. Thought the transformer block "equates"..
        3) Sonically better to me than SR1a regarding complete package

I had the same reaction after moving from the SR1a to the CA1a. Whatever was lost in resolution really paled in comparison to what was gained in bass and comfort/fit. Of course, I'm semi-salivating over the Immanis now, but that's an order of magnitude beyond my bank account.

Whoever was reading and answering those emails was so high up on rage that they cannot have read the answers properly at all. You claim to love your company and then you shoot yourself in the foot in this manner.

Your last point is critical lol. Joke aside, stroke feeling and sound will be two major dimensions (either eventually comes down to preference), I believe. Often confounded by typing amounts and contexts. Whatever, the hobby is much cheaper than audio haha.. = feels less guilty!

There is joy in the tactility of using mechanical keyboards, even if you’re not a power user.

I wish I can use one in the office, but the nice touchy ones are loud.

I do agree that Drop nowadays acts like a mixture of Ali and Kickstarter in bad ways. Presumably lower expected quality. Its return policy got more generous though (the only better thing than old massdrop days) .. enough for me to enter gambling.

Would White House propose tariff on keyboards?

But yes... I just bought a crappy 65% wireless (BT + 2.4G) keyboard on 2nd-hand market here, for 50 CNY, which was... $7. And if I want to buy a new one, it's just 99 CNY, so $14. How do you compete with that?!!

Basically everything major component for KBD is made within China so probably makes sense they would be the best at it now. Have a weird and different design you want to do? Probably much easier and faster to make a prototype there to test out.

The OG Susvara doesn't have any outer damping either AFAIK, you can see the diaphragm through the girlls. Those grills don't do much damping likely except cause resonance. So their removal is a good choice. The brown earpads that look fake... maybe not.

Makes sense. I was looking into the costs of getting into motorbikes recently. A good entry level sports bike lines up with the cost of some top tier, but not orfas-priced audio gear. Honestly, I'd rather the bike. Entry and mid-tier audio gear got stupid good anyway.

@Cspirou Was frustrated with MS Word for decades. I feel like to gain a better control over my document. Also gets along with Git well! Eye opening.

@MisterRogers To GC-addict like me, Rust encouraged low-level thinking, but not like C++ but rather much more elegant and motivating.

@Thad E Ginathom Thoroughly enjoying to separate markup and content. But still need pdf preview as a noob!

I actually started my dissertation with MS Word and I was getting overwhelmed with all the formatting that I switched to a LyX template one of my grad school friends made. It might have annoyed my advisor not being able to have revisions on an MS Word doc but it saved me an immense amount of time and stress.

Now I try to make docs with LaTeX/LyX all the time. I’m currently working on a recipe layout
