SOLD $275 - Theta DS Pro Basic II (Friends only)

I adore this DAC and it has been a staple in my rig since 2020. It was only bested by Yggdrasil A1. This DAC usually goes for more on the used market ($550 or so), but I got a good deal from a friend here, so I am passing it on in hopes it finds another person wanting to climb the latter to what mutibit and the Moffat filter with dual power supplies can offer.

It has the upgraded CS8414 input chip, so it will lock to 24/96. Installed with proper capacitor and resistor to the CS8414. I can include the CS8412 if you want, but even 16/44.1 sounds better with the CS8414.

It has three coax inputs, one coax output. Input selector and phase reversal switch on front. One set of balanced outputs, one set of unbalanced. I also installed transformer isolators on all coax inputs. I removed the AT&T ST optical module, but will include it if you want to use it instead of one coax input.

The front two switches are also brand new as the originals were broken in transit.

This has two PCM67 chips, which are dual output hybrid 18-bit chips. The first 8 are MB and the last 10 are DS. I put this on the A1 Gungnir MB level, with just a bit more clarity and blackground. Almost a LIM, but with slightly less detail. Like, ever so slightly. The biggest win of this DAC is the famous Theta slam, low end drive, blackground, and big stage. Like I said, there is a reason it hung around awhile.

The only reason I am selling is like I said, I now have Yggdrasil A2 and I am trying to raise funds for a Holo Red. It’s time this goes to someone who will appreciate it instead of just sitting here.

Below is the Theta sitting below the DNA Starlett (not for sale)

    SOLD $200 - Modi MB2 in black
I really don’t use my small rig anymore. I am trying g to pair down again to make money for a Holo Red. I have only had this about a year and hardly used.

    $99 - 7Hz Timeless
I don’t have the original tips with these. Although I do have the fancy hard case and original cable. I will also throw in the matching balanced cable with the Pentaconn connection. I just never use these enough. Although they are the most spacious IEM’s I’ve ever heard without being too airy or weird FR.

    $85 - Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro, 250 ohm version.
These came in a bundle deal with something else and I never use these.

    SOLD $75 - Grado SR80x
I thought a couple of years ago I would give Grado another try. They are smoother on top, but still not for me. I’ll include the original pads and some yellow Sennheiser HD414 pads as well.

All prices include shipping. I’m firm on the Theta, but feel free to negotiate on the other stuff.

It is quite large at 19" wide and about 17" deep. One rack space height though.
