This seems to be what started the derailment of this thread . Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned Sheldon at all and just said a friend on the forum lent the unit for review, and kept it all low key, instead of throwing it in peoples face that only he and one other get in on the nano loaner? This kind of shit really pisses me off!! Another member already put it out there they were willing to do a personal loaner on the MJ3, and has loaned other high value gear in the past for long tours without the fanfare.

@JK47 You should examine your logic because it makes no sense. Or, to be more pointed, it's outrageous.

To break it down, forget a personal loaner - I gave @Azimuth a free amp. After, he publicly thanked me, improved the amp, then did write-up. Are you also angry that @Azimuth openly expressed appreciation for my donation? Would you prefer I was snubbed? It was merely good manners if you ask me.

My coworker also loaned me his MJ3 so I could write impressions, a fact I disclosed in my post. Should I have not said anything to the effect because my coworker is only friends with me and not this entire board and none of you are entitled to that loaner either? I'm sure we probably have highly sensitive persons on this board but I think most everyone can handle the inference.

Finally, Marv recently even floated publicly the idea of rotating expensive gear for core group members with proven track records. As stated, the board is explicitly non-democratic, arbitrary, and if you look at the banner: "2000% biased." Not everyone gets an amp, courtside seat, or pony and yet somehow the sun still rises.

But taking a step back, I sense in the depth of your offense that there's something else going on, but all the same and given the parties, I hope the above is illuminating.
