334 covid deaths per day in Florida atm. If we nudge SBAF folk in the right direction we might keep them out of the tally.

 

@Woland, this is the second time I am telling you that this isn't the thread to discuss Covid policy/politics. Also, I don't want to make this thread have people who possibility judge people who aren't vaxxed. If you want to piss on my state government vax reporting/policy, you have this thread here.

I just made my post asking how others are ATM since I would love to set up a FL meet with SBAF folks one day. I do not want to make this thread full of negative talking points about people's personal health choices and telling others what to do. It isn't our job IMO to tell others how to live their lives. If people want to come to a meet, great! If not, no big deal!

I just don't want something cool as a meet to turn into another political f**k/bitch fest. I already deal with enough f**k/bitch fest daily.

Choices based on flawed data or biases can often seem like they have no consequences. Right up until the point where they do have consequences.

 

If you were doing a meet thread, I wouldn't try to shit post. @bilboda wasn't trying to be provocative in his post. Sorry if you disagree with his post enough that made you feel compelled to target him, that was a small penis syndrome move you did. My goal is to not get others have small penis syndrome.

For the record, I don't share the same views as @bilboda on vaxxing. However, from my viewpoint he did enough research on his end to make his decision. That's good enough for me. If you look at the political thread, I disagree with some of his posts in the past. In the real world, not everyone will share your views. Having small penis syndrome doesn't help.

 

I’m as pro mask and pro vaxx as they come and I have to chime in and agree that @bilboda doesn’t read to me as provocative. I applaud the no-bullshit, concise report of his status. Personally, I wouldn’t do something indoors with non-vaxxed people, and that response told me all I needed to know to make my own decision. Much better than being cagey or cute about it. Fair to all concerned.

I’m not in FL anyway, but thought it was worth it to give another read on it.

 

learning isn't easy. You have to go beyond msm and the defacto "experts". Amongst other accomplishments, he chairs 2 Data Safety Boards at the NIH, take note Fauci fans. He speaks about 3 hours here, but it's hard data and the sources are impeccable. Judge for yourself. Or don't watch. The opportunity to learn has to be presented to you. It's up to you to follow through, or not.

 

Peter McCullough's your top guy? He's well credentialed, but whatever he was has disappeared into a puff of absolute lunacy through the pandemic. He lost whatever scientific/medical credibility he had left through his conspiracy theory BS about unreported vaccine deaths, and his complete misunderstanding of vaccine side effect reporting.

I mean shit, we're sitting at 6.5 billion vaccine doses administered globally. Hospitals and morgues are filled with unvaccinated people. Where are all these sick or dead vaccinated people, perhaps hiding behind the couch?

What we have is a difference in values: you want to be nice to people while I want to be good to people. Sometimes those values are in conflict.

Letting @bilboda 's provocation pass might feel nice, but it allows him to think it's OK and then he has more confidence and posts the crazy youtube visible above this one. It's not kind to him to let him be in that bubble -- (from the little I know) it seems his life is at risk, and he is risking the lives of others.

I'm not saying preach to him -- but teasing him lightly has a shot of being persuasive while keeping silent has none. @rhythmdevils posted elsewhere about the difficulties engaging with people kindly in this environment -- I'm trying. Maybe you've given up -- it's hard.

 

Fellows, you are using shame and derision as tools to justify your positions. Why?
There is a boatload of data presented. Why not address it? How are you qualified to simply disregard it?

How do you account for the data from Israel?
One of the main ideas of the countrywide vaccine uptake was to serve as a test bed and the data is now available.

The "pandemic of the unvaccinated" was well addressed in the presentation as was the lack of oversight.
The outbreaks and subsequent hospitalizations and deaths among the vaccinated are well documented, albeit not in the MSM.

I have made a possible life or death decision. Help me understand the error of my ways.

Derision will not do it. This is too important to me.
