Lost my Laptop?

Last week I was traveling, I lost my laptop on the bus. But the problem is I haven't noticed the bus number. I inform the police but they are searching. I am afraid about my hard drive picture, App, and all important documents. Is it possible to access/format my laptop or communicate with the operator of my laptop?

YMO has your laptop. Even if he gives it back the keyboard will be jammed up with hair.

 

I hope you informed the bus company as well, with the bus route and time. If it's a Mac, you might be able to locate it through Apple's "Find My" service (I think it's turned on by default when you set it up with an Apple ID).

You can if its a Windows system and you had Onedrive active. You log in with your Windows password from a different system and change it and all your other passwords, then download everything in your Onedrive folder. Most important is to log in with your phone and change all passwords. You can also log into Google and use the Takeout service to download your files stored with them.
