    Who are some recent musicians who appear to have completely mastered their instrument in a rare way? I dabble in guitar and for me Julian Lage has an effortless mastery of his instrument that I've rarely seen. Here's an example.

    While this is not in a rare way per say, Gary Clark Jr. is young and has mastered the blues and the guitar. He's playing with the guitar greats and fitting right in:
