If I do not take care of my future there is no sense in getting old. The young generations have to deal with gentrification, environmental issues, globalisation without old-money to fall back on. Even in NL the prospects are not great...

The only MS software I ever respected was Excel. I believe it was one of the things they originally bought in rather than developed themselves?

But anyone who wants to learn how much they really love Excel should try using its genetically-deformed dumb sort-of-clone, Libre Office Calc.

Almost everything we do in agriculture, building, transport and many other things generate emissions and waste. There is no easy solution. A gradual decrease with cleaner processes can work. Nope, the government simply made a strict policy and now it is trying to say: "we did not mean it like that..."

        Clusterfuck in the making.

Blizzard is dead for a while, it's just Activision now. They deserve their fate, they even blocked account deletion . The NBL did a similar thing. You have to give it to China when they can control large US companies.

*shudders* I could never work in medicine.

Once while prepping avocados the pit broke in ½ flat with the surface of the fruit. So I gently tried to stab it with tip of the chef's knife. It wouldn't budge, so stabbed harder. It rotated, the knife went thru the fruit and into flesh just below the webbing of fingers 3 & 4. Hello urgent care.

Restaurants taught me to deal with burns well enough, but I don't like cuts.

Ha! My friend is also a rancher and I’ve found rancher-doctors to be a different breed. There’s an ob/gyn my wife worked with who is the biggest redneck & looks the part. He told my wife he was already delivering calves w/o going to school for it so he might as well make some money doing the same thing with human babies.

The money still goes somewhere - someone has to receive it, it doesn't just disappear into thin air. Instead of subsidizing oil and gas companies, perhaps redirect that money towards building electrolytic hydrogen plants, etc.

A 16-year old with ideals, good. Fast forward and being an adult comes into play. If you still have the same ideals make sure you have the wallet. Things have to change but making noise is not the same as voting with your wallet. Ditch the fancy MacBooks and cheap fashion, start recycling and maintaining your belongings. Quality has a price...
