        Just say no to Microsoft!

Compatibility Blues dude, you know how Bill Gates made that deal with IBM? There is no escaping that microscopic softness, unless you go full Apple or open source...

There's no escape if you are tied to one or more specific bits of Win-only software. If that's the way it is... that's the way it is.

On-line dating is hard man. Have some mercy on that poor soul. Sometimes things happen off-line and the on-line part of life gets affected.

Almost found the Fuji colours on the K5. Testing is fun. Yes, Fuji colours are a thing. Kodak colours did not work for me in the film era...

I loved Fujifilm Velvia 50 and Kodak TMax.

The Velvia sim in the Fuji cameras is pretty good.

CaptureOne (even the free Fuji edition) has Velvia sim also, so maybe you could give that a try if you're shooting raws. The Pro edition also has it. IIRC they worked directly with Fuji for those looks.

For natural portraits Kodak film was better i.m.e. I simply loved, still love the lively colours Fujifilm could bring. A good picture is not always accurate. Sometimes a good picture is (a little) exaggerated...

I leaned a great lesson a couple of weeks ago. If you are cooking for a large group do your prep work way ahead. 18 people is a lot more cooking and coordination than I thought. And it was only Julia Child grilled burgers! Those minced shallots are so good.

@Zed Bopp The D600 had a particular issue - I forget what it was but instead of fixing it they created the D610 and replaced D600's with it for free.

Do not let your soul be trained out bro. It is hypocritical to say that all the mess that follows is absolutely necessary. Later when you hit bottom the hypocrites say you are weak! Keep it real and do not lean into bs (negative outcomes).

Girls can be thoughtless. I don't think they realize how difficult it is for someone to summon up the courage to ask them out.
Don't let a rejection bring you down, keep cheerfully asking other girls. There are several lovely ones just waiting for your paths to cross and to meet you.

The XT100 isn't sealed. However, lots of Fuji owners go out in the rain and dusty areas with non-sealed models. The X100 series comes to mind. I've gone out with my X100F, gotten it all rained on, no problems. Just wipe off with a dry cloth, and of course don't submerge it.
