I have had the Omega SAM monitors for maybe 4-5 months, they took at least 300-400 hours to really breakin and open up. Worth being patient with them. I slammed them with hardcore electronica for days and days. The bass is surprisingly good rolls off around 50 hz and it goes up to around 18,000 not bad for a single driver. Have drove them with 4watts and 30 watts both tubes with great results. I like the 30 watts PP amp better more dynamics and slam. Somtimes I would like more air up top but its usualy just thinking to much not really missed when Im listining. This are great speakers, clear open, choerant with wonderful tone. Im the type who buys and sells gear I think these may be keepers.

I have now bought 4 different speakers to compare to the Omega super alnico monitors, fostes dave enabled fonken, 12 coax , Troesl gravesen purifi monitor with ribbon tweeter, Reference 3a decapo I. I have sold all of them and kept the Omega, I love them. Balanced, good clean extension on top, bass is good I use a rel 5t sub. mids are glorious large sound stage, deep at times beyound the walls. They need time and care to break in (500 hours) then placing in the room takes time a patience, the payoff is amazing. I have used a EC studio B,( 4watts) Lance Cochrane, Fisher KX-200 (both 30watts) and am waiting for an almarro 318b to be delevered 13 watts set amp. all of them worked well the one I liked the least was the studio b

You will really enjoy the Almarro 318B with the Omegas. It is an amazingly well matched combination full of life, color, beauty and fully fleshed out tonality.

Post about the sound once you get to hear them together.
