    Hi all --

I've been a lurker for quite a while and prefer the dynamic and advice over HF. I'm been considered locking my setup down to two headphones, and am trying to decide between:

    1. HD800 + TH-X00.
    2. LCD2 only.
    3. TH-X00 + HD650.
I currently own the HD800 and TH-X00 as well as a Val2 and Modi 2 Uber. My source is usually Apple Music or Deezer, and that's about as much effort as I want to put into source. I did own an LCD2 before and it sounded nice to my ears, but I know those are a crap shoot due to QC on signature. I've owned the TH-900 as well, but the treble spike killed me, so I like the TH-X00s better in that regard.

Love to hear thoughts on people who've owned any of the above.

    3. Super quick reply I'm sure you haven't made up your mind already. :p

I don't like stock HD800 enough, but I do like TH-X00 and HD650. not sure if the TH-X00 works well with Valhalla 2 though.

You aready have two very complimentary headphones. One is considered by many to be THE reference headphone, while the other is a fun bassy alternative for movies, gaming, etc.

It all depends on how much use each of the headphones get. If you're primarily using the HD800 and hardly use the TH-X00 then maybe sell the TH-X00 and get a HD650. If the HD800 is too bright and you can't stand it, the HD650 is a great alternative.
