$600 shipped to the lower 48 states for friends and known contributors. Otherwise it's $650 shipped. Will ONLY come with all of the stock / factory parts + original box. Most of AK + HI will probably be about $15-20 USD more. Most of Canada will be about $25 USD more and this will include prepaid duties and customs. Everywhere else can be discussed via PM.

Selling b/c I just don't have time to play with and mod these anymore, I went through about 10 different iterations over the last 3 or so years.

If my pricing is off PM me. I know V1 used to go on sale at Adorama for $900 IIRC and I know the price of a new pair purchased in China after applicable haggling (lower than US pricing) is a bit over $1k USD right now.

Extra parts:
- MrSpeakers / DCA EFO1.1 leather pads. Were used for modding and I also found these the most comfortable with the headphone. The pads I have right now only have about 100 hours on them and have been properly cleaned / maintained with (gentle / non irritating) leather care products so they're relatively fresh. These are only held on via double sided tape - if you need something very permanently fixed, then you probably need the stock pads - add $60
- Double Helix Cable - 6' Molecule Cable with Eidolic XLR termination (amp side) and Eidolic 3.5mm single channel termination (headphone side) - add $220. Cable only sold with headphone, not selling separately.
- Wood cups - experimented with these for modding. NOT fastened - you have to use something like blu-tac to hold these in (this was a deliberate decision on my parts for modding). IMO they need to be opened up more on the inside with the shape of the exit changed to sound more natural. add $50 (these cost me $160ish).

Mods:
- I currently have the headphones modded but NONE of it is permanent / irreversible.
- Mods - add $100 and I will send these out modded with parts for 2 different modding setups. 1 setup is much more neutral and even sounding, it's more of a neutral reference sound with a little bit of air. You will not get that strong slam and heft in the bass. The other has much more of the stereotypical modded HE6 sound with stronger bass slam except my mods lean more towards additional bass heft and a little less slam. I lost the rest of my notes on the rest of my iterations, but the current one and this one here were my favorite ones. You will also have instructions for how to assemble the headphone for each setup. The mods require the EFO1.1 pads (stock pads clip on at several points and will interfere with modding materials).

This is very tempting ... but I already have too many headphones lying around and my wife will surely notice an addition to the collection

But if nobody else picks them up, maybe ...
