As new Schiit Mjolnir 2 amplifier. ~4 hours use. Come as bought in box. Amp includes 6BZ7 tubes + LISST.

I bought this to stack with my new Gungnir Multibit and although it seems like a fantastic amp I actually still prefer HD650 driven by my old Valhalla 2.

    AUD$1200 (note, Australian dollars)

Pickup available from Sydney, 2093. Comes as bought in box, shipping at buyers expense.

hey- sell whatever you want and yah, many folks feel Valhalla2 with HD650 is a superb match:

but 4 hours of use wasn't even enough to warm up those new tubes with Mjo2, much less give the unit any break in time.
not suggesting that 619 hours is burn-in magic mandatory, but 4 hours isn't a fair shake either. just saying.

ps. IIRC, there's a Aussie on HF looking for a Mjo2.

I was in the market for a Mj2 when I scaled my rig back from a Ragnarok. Didn't expect the Valhalla 2 to be as good as what some had made it out to be. When I listen to the Valhalla 2/HD650 pairing though, the upgrade-itis is quelled. The right balance is struck for my preferences with Amperex glass (Bugles, but I like the Orange lable A-frames too).

This listing is very enticing though. Really good price for Aussies.

If the seller feels the urge to offload his Gungnir Multibit - he knows who to PM. ;-)

Thanks for the advice. I'm sure you are right to a certain extent regarding burn in, adjustment etc.

The listing is about more than just signature preferences though. I have also taken a step back in the last few days to evaluate where I stand with this hobby, considering diminishing returns, affordability and other priorities in my life etc and have decided I am probably around about where I should be with my current setup, sans Mojo2.
