I came back from the dead. two or three times. I think the last was in 1991. I admit, it is quite an experience!

It would and should have been far, far more often, but they only played in England a few times.

They were a bit obsessed with bad weather. Always singing about rain and storm, I think fire too. Ice? I can't believe they didn't cover it... but where?

Confession time: I never liked the Grateful Dead. I was their target demographic: I was high all the time; went to Woodstock; had many chances to see them at the Fillmore East ... never wanted to. I took some shit for that back in the day, but still feel the same way.

I would say I make up for my musical transgressions with my other sterling qualities--but obviously that's not true.

 

Whilst I find this incomprehensible, I have to admit that people are different, and like different stuff. So, as a different person, you probably really like some really great other stuff.

(Even if it isn't as good as the Dead )

Years ago I went on quite a tear of reading 19th century Russian literature, mostly the short stories (all the great Russian writers of that time wrote those), and a few novels. Based on that, I would amend the lower right panel above as follows:
