What balanced headphone should I get?

Ok so I just upgraded from a modius to a bifrost 2/64 and I really like the Dac. I am looking to upgrade my Magnius as well.
Requirements are it must be balanced and have balanced preout as well to control my studio monitors.
I am leaning towards jotunheim 2. But I am curious if there is something better under 750 new/used that is out there? Any recommendations or should I stick with getting the Jotunheim 2?

You're better off asking this question in all purpose advice thread. A few additional information like what headphone you have, name of the speakers, and why you prefer jot2 etc could go a long way.
Personally I use a THX789 in a balanced set up with modius/Yggdrasil to drive planars (LCD3) that I'm happy with. Can't comment on its preout capabilities though as I have a separate setup for that.

 

Which headphones you use ?

 

I have 3 sets of headphones I currently use.
1. Focal Clear MG balanced. I use these like 60% of the time.
2. Beyerdynamic DT 1990 single ended. Use these about 30%
3. Audeze LCD 2 Balanced I use these occasionally.

Kinda, I did get the magnius previously. But I use the Asgard as the single ended amp. And I still have the lyr 2 for tubiness.
I am still torn on the jotunheim but I am trying to replace the asgard and magnius for good.

 

Poking around the Focal Clear thread - the Jot2 shows up as a good choice.

 

The Jot2 Single Ended is similar sounding to the Asgard 3. In my opinion, I would be able to replace the Asgard and Magnius with the Jot2. Then you have a single amp that can go balanced or SE.
