WTB/borrow: HD6XX/650/600 (for a month or so)

I'm going to go to electrodynamic hell for this (not a fun place at all to live for eternity!) but could anyone loan me an HD6XX/HD650/HD600 for about a month? I finally found a vintage amplfier repair shop who will fix my Studio B and Zana Deux Super. And I'd like to send him an HDXX to test the amps with and also get to enjoy them a bit while he has them, they're such rare amps.

Or I could buy them from you and resell them when I get the amps back. Happy to buy a pair. They don't need to be the vintage super thin extra perforated non spandex thick on the edges but not in the middle black screen version or anything

Side bonus, I could write a review of the new Drop TA-84 that would actually be useful to you all if I had a Sennheiser. Compare to my Stratus and Vali 3 and whatever other amp I have setup here. that is if the drivers actually sound any different out of the different amps to me beyond the mushy veil.

I can loan you my hd650 if you want. They are just a plain 10 year old pair and nothing special but well broken in and still sound as good as they ever did.

So @eastboundofnowhere can’t ship until next Saturday and the repair shop will get the amps shortly after that. So if anyone else has a pair of preferably HD650 or HD6XX they can loan or sell let me know. I don’t need a special variety. Thanks!

 

When do they need to be shipped? I have a made in Ireland marble HD600.

 

Early next week? I have trouble with the upper mids of the HD600 though so for review purposes an HD650 or HD6XX would be better.

I have a gently-used 6XX hanging off the two-channel rig that you're welcome to borrow for as long as you need. I could probably get it out of Iowa by Tuesday; I'd just have to find or buy a shipping box.
