I know that there aren’t a lot of music sales on SBAF, but I figured that it doesn’t hurt to ask. I’m looking for the Iron Maiden reissues on Castle Records from 1995. There are 10 albums total; each album is a 2-CD set. See the Discogs entry here:

Hit me up if you have any of these. Thanks!

I still have all mine, hope you're able to score a set. Don't be scared of the UK 2cd set of killers over the castle it's one of the only ones that's different/slightly better on the main album.

Thanks! I didn’t know that there were other 2-CD reissues besides the Castle releases. I’ll check it out.

NP :) yeah UK same year I think it was EMI label. There's one or 2 albums other than killers that have slightly different mastering or small level shifts compared to the castles. Up the irons !

@MellowVelo it looks like we have Genesis and Iron Maiden in common. What's special about these Castle releases? My curiosity is piqued!

The 1995 reissues used the original awesome CD masterings basically. There's slight level shifts between the emi and castle. Essentially it's either these or the OG CDs or OG vinyl if you want good sounding maiden 80-92. Also each album contains a bonus disc of the original singles and bsides. If you guys ever find "the first 10 years" box set buy that sucker as well.

That we do! @HotRatSalad summed it up well. Subsequent reissues got progressively worse with compression. The 1998 reissues are passable but not great. The 2015 hi-res reissues are an abomination.

Ok but I got an Eddie figure with my Number Of The Beast reissue a few years ago. The sound was pretty warm IIRC though. Oh the irony.

I hope that you're proudly displaying the Eddie figure as a showpiece in your home. It's a real conversation starter.
