I’m looking to connect Yggdrasil XLR out to amp SE amp in. If you have a Jensen Isomax PC-2XR available please PM.

    Thanks for looking.

if it's Yggdrasil A2 from a quality source, not sure the Jensen is necessary unless you have noise, grounding, or isolation issues.
Yggdrasil SE outs are not bad quality to SE input amp like Eddie Current and the Jensen can sometimes soften or squash dynamics.
not opposed to trying and buying, but the Jensen you seek is not a holy grail improvement.

I’m using Yggdrasil A1 now but planning to upgrade to A2 at some point.
I was under the impression that using Yggdrasil XLR was better-er on A1 and even more of a difference with A2.

while the XLR outs are better to XLR ins on a balanced amp, I'm not going to claim
XLR out + Jensen > SE out native to native SE in.
    just sayin.

no waste of time at all, for anyone.
let's leave the thread open for some days/weeks to see if a loaner or a cost effective deal emerges.
it's worth verifying for yourself if there's low risk of lost $.
just didn't want you expecting miracles.

@jexby Have you also tried Cinemag solution Marv talked about earlier?
Perhaps its the Jensen at fault here.

To reiterate, I didn't care for the 4:1 Jensen's, the easily obtainable ones for BAL to XLR.

I have not heard the Jensen 1:1s, but they should be similar to the Cinemag 1:1s I rigged up.

OK*... to let you guys know, we have one rolling around here now. Keep in mind for the future, could loan it out or give it to SBAF etc.

I figured screw it, have a couple uses for it... a long run to the lyr (from Yggdrasil A2) and not ready to go full balanced on my 2channel, yet (or do the mods that could get it there).

Right off the bat though, the HD650's never fail to surprise... new level (for me) of full, tall wrap around sound, the outskirts seem less collapsed. Very full sounding. But yeah... could have been weak drive of the long RCA's -- will hook it up to the 2channel tonight!

*don't laugh or roll-eyes too hard, I don't like adding shit to the chain either ;D

    Oh yeah, very
high quality build and heavy, those Jensens are pretty too.

@Scott Kramer So since this is a WTB, you are interested in loaning it to me? ;)
