WTB: OG Utopia cable

I'd like to try the OG Utopia cable, you know, the garden hose variety. I'm currently using the stock cable that comes with the Utopia 2020. While it's much lighter than the OG cable, the memory on this thing is insane.

If you have an OG cable that you'd be willing to part with, please let me know. Thanks!

 

To be honest, the amount the Utopia gets elevated with a good aftermarket i would see if there is something out there in your range that fits. Most will be better ergo wise as well.

Ill also note the og cable isnt much better ergo wise. None of the stock focal cables i have tried have been.

 

What type of cable would you reccomend for the OG Utopia? The stock cable is a bit unweildy.

 

Thanks. I’m planning to try some aftermarket cables. My interest in the OG stock cable is more of a curiosity than anything else. I’m not expecting the last word in ergonomics or fidelity.

What are your favorite aftermarket cables for the Utopia?

 

@ColdsnapBry @MellowVelo in the end it depends what youre after sonically and your chain. I tried a few including both og and 2020 stock, a heimdal, amd dana. Not to clog this thread but send me a message if you want to chat further.

 

I may have my old OG cable; if so I’ll ship it over and you can have it. I’ll get up in the attic in the next couple of days.

 

I made my own cables for the Utopia.
