My Dem vote in Cali won't affect anything, but at least I'll be counted and the idea of Not being counted strikes me as shitty.

@songmic it runs a variety of free/open-source Pi-specific OSs that focus on digital audio and include software that support a number or music services/protocols. It becomes the “renderer” of the music file (feeding your DAC). Files can come from various locations (e.g. USB stick, networked DLNA server, Roon server, Tidal/Qobuz directly, Spotify Connect, Airplay etc). Different OSs support different options.

They indeed are special and a must have for digital music playback.

High schools have stopped teaching civics the way they used to. A lot of folks don’t know the basics of how our government works. (or doesn’t sometimes). Wish I had the answer to all of this.

Teach the smarter children Greek and Latin. A few, at least, will be called out to by the philosophical virtues and by the character of a Socrates. I might yet be spared having to instruct the *entire* seminar of graduate students in long-established and fairly straightforward distinctions (fairness vs justice, acceptance vs tolerance, &c.).

Think my aunt and uncle did too. Both dislike both parties... but I guess they dislike a certain someone even more.

It was a fun introduction to the characters; I'm looking forward to a more linear 2nd season
