so sorry to hear you are having issues. were those standard x-rays or CT scan?
Shortness of breath can be as simple as carrying too much weight. Or it could be caused by something as serious as pulmonary fibrosis. And many things in between.
Hope you find the cause and it is relatively benign.
@atomicbob - It was a regular chest x-ray, not a CT scan. I am a bit overweight and I’ve had some breathing issues because of that. But a bit more recent is a cough I’ve had that hasn’t gone away which was a cause for concern
So sorry to hear of the loss of your family member and friend. Very sad.
If your cough persists, please try to get CT scan etc. My experience... I had a very nasty and debilitating cough for five years. A couple of times a year I'd get sent to the specialist (British NHS) and an x-ray would show nothing. They would tell me to stop smoking and send me away.
Well, finally I /did/ stop smoking, which had no effect at all. Further tests followed, and, whilst x-rays continued to show no abnormality, a CT scan showed a large ball-shaped thing in the middle of my chest. ...
