I wonder if it just routes the right channel to both monitors? Someone HAD to test this damn thing and maybe that was enough just to hear it "working".

Has anyone had any problems with the audio from their GO V2+/GO2A intermittently cutting out?

Sometimes it cuts out when I move my GO2A Infinity around, and sometimes it cuts out on its own. It keeps my gain and filter settings, so it's not resetting or disconnecting from my computer completely, it's just audio that's dropping.

I'm getting a lot of disconnections on my Geek Pulse too earlier today, weirdly.

EDIT: I see now (never checked this before) what you guys are talking about on the APM5 and 8 having the dual input vs the 1 input on the 6. Wow. Um. I may just call them tomorrow or Friday and ask them what the deal is.

I may just have to call them (Rockville) and be like, yo, what's the deal. They DO sound good, no exaggeration. I just am finding it incredibly disappointing that everyone is telling me it's basically impossible to run balanced into these things.

Now, I guess I could always get the NEW version which is the DPM6 and run it that way with the dual XLR? Because they're both individual?

EDIT: THIS GUY says he is running balanced in his video:

EDIT: Good news! I called Rockville and they actually are doing a straight exchange for me to the upgraded DPM6 with XLR input on each individual speaker. The guy I talked to was flabbergasted and has no idea why the speakers were built that way, and told me he didn't trust the design either. I asked him if it was possible to just get a straight exchange on them for the DPM6 and he was like, yeah we'll do that. He also told me the drivers were a little better on the upgraded model, so that's a plus. I should be good now if I want to run XLR. Still annoying though, I have to make a long XLR cable and I have no idea how much that is going to cost me. The new finish on the new monitor sucks IMO, with an ugly Rockville badge/logo on the speakers. Ugh. Whatever, I guess I'll put up with it for the better sound.

He has infinity gain on his unit. Basically the buttons become volume control and analog gain is adjusted based off the steps. There are NO gain settings anymore. This means at the quiet end of the spectrum there is was less noise (great for Andromeda).

@zerodeefex Is this part of the new firmware you mentioned recently? I would love to have that on my current GOV2+!

If the same set up appears on the Wave it'd be a chuffing DAP.

Let's hope that's true with the Wave! Would expect Larry and crew to have used the prolonged development cycle to his advantage in baking in the best of what they've learned along the way. Cheers

My unit is going to Marv for a review and we'll do some analysis before it's handed off to the general public.

Fantastic news! Sounds like this will make the V2+ much more usable with iPhones, which have such massive volume steps that everything is always too low or too loud.

believe you are correct, yet some 3rd party audio players had more fine grained volume control on their sliders.
currently am enjoying NePlayer for IOS and high res playback.

early note about GO2 Pro Firmware 2.0: upon power up, previous settings such as filters and volume are not saved across power cycles.
the default power on volume is REAL loud for Andromeda, and need to press-n-hold the volume down button for maybe 7-10 seconds to start at a quieter dB.

Interesting note about third party players. I currently use Vox and will have to play around and see if that applies.
