Yes. This is the sewer section, but a sewer section with a purpose. I'm sure I've said this before in regards to vulgarity and interactions with the members here: It's the meaning of the words, not the words in themselves.

My biggest complaint with HF moderation that it focused mainly on the words themselves and not on their meaning. This allowed skilled trolls to figuratively take a shit into people's mouths and get away with it so long as they were skilled at it (avoiding certain trigger words, using happyface emoticons, etc.). Some of these HF'ers to this day are still not banned.

Auditor is exactly this type of person. Hence I present you what he really said after I ran it through Google translate:

I would contrast that with a normal day of talking about the latest and greatest at heAD-fi but it would be in poor taste to post a picture of the human centipede.

@Marvey - only 18 PM??? that would be a slow day would it not?
I imagine that there are times when your inbox has great similarities to standing at the foot of Niagara Falls attempting to fill a glass of water.

Rebuttal to the point of order: if you reference 643.200 Appendix A, you will note that when accounting for regional language differences one must also verify that the vocabulary and slang terms used are in fact defamatory before inciting subsectional clauses.

You will note that I list my region as Canada, which gives me assured authority over the word "hoser". While it was presumed by the addressed to be defamatory, it in in fact a good-natured term of endearment. Historically it references a person who hoses down the hockey rink (a job now supplanted by the much more common mechanical zamboni) after play. While occasionally found as a pejorative term utilized by children, as one matures you realize that the task is in fact a vital necessity so that others may enjoy the game. Thus, the term hoser is a mantle upon which one should be proud to receive and represents one who is generous and altruistic in nature.

I hope you understand, even if you disagree.

You guys are hilarious. The sad part is that if you changed names and subject matter, the surrounding banter would fit well into a corporate meeting "discussion".

And here the lads can be seen engaging in a spirited discussion about virtues of OS vs. NOS:

I imagined more a picture of high school lunch, with the NOS guys being the nerds sitting together by themselves in the back corner playing Magic the Gathering.

That's ridiculous. If they had put one cardboard box there, the cats would have been arguing about who was going to get to sit in it.

Some people need to go out and meet the world with their own eyes, and avoid looking through the eyes of the media or through a friend of a friend of a friend...

Americans eat, shit, laugh, cry, love, make music and enjoy music like the guy down the next two or three countries.

Hell, I think looking down at the guy the next four or five countries, and across the ocean (Pacific or Atlantic or whatever) is something many folks have in common as well. Even in that shit we are alike.

Anyhow, my last name (one of them) seems to come from the Sos del Rey Catolico in the Kingdom of Aragon where the Sada Palace is said to be located. It is said that King Ferdinand the Catholic was born in the Sada Palace apparently in 1452. That probably makes me related to King Ferdinand somehow. So f**k you guys, I'm European royalty (I think). And if that does not duit, then maybe a few 3000 years back some random dude that is somehow related to me was King somewhere too.

BTW, King Ferdinand was also King of Sicily and King of Naples which is both the lower part Italy's boot along with the soccer ball. So there you have it.

And if that was not enough, my mom says that I'm very handsome.

Maybe the kid that told me he knew how to hack into mainframes and had laser security systems installed at his house like in Mission Impossible. Always putting on a show, one upping, holier than thou.

As if you're the only one with royal blood in their veins, eh? Well I'm related to Attila the Hun (mostly because I'm part Chinese and like half the people in Asia somehow originated from his loins.... very not a pretty picture but you get my point)!

Asian rulers do it better than European ones! Whatever "It" is besides a homicidal clown-looking piece of Todash-spawn I have no idea, but that doesn't matter because I take great pride in my heritage even though that's just one of many things that have absolutely nothing to do with my worth as a person!

... Two things: I don't do online sarcasm well, and this thread is going on for much longer than I expected it to. Really though, hypernationalism is why we're on the brink of breathing irradiated air as par for course.

I think people are using this thread to blow off some steam, myself included.
Dilbert is a documentary of the corporate world in the guise of a comic strip.

Fair play. I've been irritable as hell lately and fwiw posting the above helped blow off some steam, even if it was really amateurishly done lol.

The horrible side to me is that I can be pretty cruel, laying the groundwork for self-important people to get butthurt from self-inflicted actions.

BTW, I got another personal message. So easy to press buttons of self-important people who take things way too seriously. As with the other messages, I just trash them without reading them. Being a toothless curmudgeon from the sewers of the USA can be fun. Hopefully he will post them here so I can do another Google translate.
