Wait, I'll type a follow up message before I make you waste 5 bucks. If you are a player primarly focused on story, it's not for you. The story is mediocre at best. The fighting mechanics are absolutely sick. Masterful even. It's also pretty damn fun and quite hard on the higher difficulties. Eh. Hope that makes things easier for you.

Couldn't help myself. Ended up snagging Life is Strange, LA Noir Complete and Road Redemption (the Road Rash reboot). Good times ahead!

It's an okay game, but the QuickTime events are a pain. If you get the costume that removes the QTEs then it's more enjoyable. Though you should see a glitches speed run, that's a crazy game when people start breaking it.

So I picked up the $25 Fiio D3 coax/optical DAC for my PS4. Pretty happy with it, helps dig deeper in the bass. It's powered off one of the PS4's usb slots, so it's basically like a DAC in a wire. Easy upgrade for console gaming sound.

I bought SUPERHOT on launch (thursday last week I believe... or something like that) as the concept looked badass as hell and I have to say that it is absolutely amazing.

The campaign is crazy short, expect one and a half hours of playtime but it is incredibly engaging (take that from someone that never gives two craps about story in games) and they have made sure to include a ton of challenges and stuff to do post campaign so I'm not close to running out of stuff to do 8 hours in. The mechanics are great you'll have to check out a youtube video of the core gameplay, this is not your run of the mill FPS, if it wasn't FPS by definition I wouldn't even call it one. The game feels very polished and I highly recommend it. This is one of the very few single player games I sure as hell will end up replaying. Oh and the animations sucks ass.

If you are concerned by the small amounts of content (at least in terms of story driven content) wait until this game goes on sale and consider picking it up then, if you are fine with a short story and then some challenges and such consider buying it, I was really entertained. If you want a fleshed out review that doesn't suck consider watching this fine man here: Oh and feel free to ask anything.

Some of my design buddies have been talking about this one. I guess it's about time I give it a try. I need to force myself to stop playing Overwatch and try the other games out there for a while!

In that it's my favorite smash, and I'm okay at it, yes. do I play seriously, and practice my crazy tek for hours a day? No, though I follow the major players and tournaments. It's really fun to watch high-level play (unless it's hbox, he can't retire fast enough).

I'm trying to get good enough at it for serious play, I'm decent with the base mindgame and some basic tech but I still fumble inputs way too often. I also cant seem to get it through my head that Roy isn't viable, so that makes the inputs thing much much worse >__>

Once May hits im gonna start drilling the hell out of the game to see if I can get anywhere -- casual netplay on Anther's Ladder and with a couple close friends is more than adequate for now as I'm far too busy for these next couple months.

So, did anyone watch the Final Fantasy XV event? I'm kinda looking forward the game, I had forgotten about it for a while but what I've seen so far looks good. I wasn't impressed enough to shell out nearly $300 for the Collector's Edition though.

Highly recommended. The game is also known as the Kickstabber: The Kickening.

Dark Souls 3 anyone? I'm trying to stay strong and not watch any stream footage, but April 12 seems far away!
