Love the JVC's, they sound great out of an iPhone too. The highs are too sizzly in stock form, but James saved them. One of the true gems of budget portable audio
Really did not see this coming, in an audio journey where flings are frequent, where attention grabbing is easy, but few products really just nail "it". The FDX1 has enough technical ability to occasionally surprise you, improves with better gear and has the emotional bandwidth to the let mood of the music come through. I expect these to be classics, but only time will tell.
I wouldn't mind a complimentary warmer version, the HD650 to the HD600, but the FDX1 has got enough lush when it's required. The build is really unique, with these spinning parts (both cable and nozel), but over ear has been perfect; one of the few iems I can wear all day. Definitely prefer it to my customs. Missed a dynamic driver!
Totally. The tonal signature isn't exactly the same (the JVC's have better bass extension), but for me the JVCs are to iems what the HD600s are to overear headphones. Comparable price, comparable performance, comparable enjoyment
