Is it a secret or fully know which OEM's are making the different products or sourcing the IP from? You aren't just up-and-tooling a full headphone for fun and Monoprice has quickly upper their game from where they started.

 

I often wonder the same. It's like the Kirkland of techy shit.

 

I remember years ago in the early ortho days there were a few guys who went into the deep dive looking for shells for ortho transplants and did find a few of the OEMs and had a few names posted up. That's as much as I remember though.

please post the price of deals in addition to the link. There are a couple of good reasons for this: 1) we can see the deal faster and easier. If the price chances from the time you posted until the time we click on a link, the "deal" price is good info.

I really hope that no one bought this at that price if it really was a 1st gen Modi MB. I have to assume it was really a Modi Multibit 2. At any rate, it was either purchased or taken down in the few minutes it went live.

 

Lol. I bought it. I have had a WTB open for months for one, so I jumped on it without thinking. Most likely, you are right about it being a MM2 instead (wasn't MM1 $249 new?). If it is indeed an MM2, I hope it will be an easy return. I do curse the fact that I have bought and sold an MM1 twice in the past before moving to the BF2. Wish I had kept it as a backup so I could pair it with my Piety.

 

I would be contacting Schiit customer service instead of waiting until it arrives.
