Dreaded 43hz still causing you grief?

That one's ok as I can eq it down. I'm getting a big null (-15dB ish) at around 100hz that's proving to be rather stubborn. The one usable spot I've eliminated it has not been approved by my wife...and in fairness does look pretty crappy (centre of front wall). Will be playing around some more this evening.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Have been been doing 1/4 wavelength calcs & stuff. Think I've gotten around it, with a smaller dip at 70hz which I can live with for now.

So you moved them a bit further from the wall?

Moved the sub forward a bit and it seemed to have a disproportionately large effect. Acoustics is a crazy field, so many variables.

yes, room acoustic is a real bitch. Ive removed all my furniture as any of those around my shl5+ affected the bass in room response.

Yeah, i've been living here for a couple of years now and I thought i knew the room. Then it completely changed when i changed something simple.
