Yeah, that's going to be the crucial thing. HE-6 with a decent headband at around $1k would be great. Considering Fang's crazy pricing tendencies though, it's anyone's guess where he's going to pitch these.

It makes me wonder what the point of buying the Susvara is at this point, as who knows when a Susvara SE/V2 with revised headband will show up. It looks like (I'm guessing) that the HE1000SE uses the "Stealth" Magnet system, same headband, same darker wood. It might just lack the gold coating on the diaphragm. I'm not sure really.

Crazy pricing, crazy build quality. Here's to hoping.

Wait for the senseless, arbitrary pricing, build quality issues and new versions next year, stripping the second hand value of those new units to -100 yuan.

Ok, I'll call the HE1000SE at $4k, HE6SE at $2k minimum.

I made the mistake of purchasing a Hifiman once. #neveragain. Especially at these prices.

Sadly, I enjoy the house sound. Don't like the prices though :-(
