We had issues with google docs at work on Wednesday morning. Then today YouTube wouldn’t support full view. It’s all fine now. Ghosts in the machine. Maybe the algorithms are taking over. After all they can write their own code. Saw a TED talk about how programmers don’t know what the algorithms actually are doing at times. “Open the Pod Bay doors HAL”. “f**k you Dave, I’m running the show”. :)
HAH, yeah, I'm only saying nice things about the inexorable march towards utopia under our future robotic overlords in the event AI does take over.
That all aside, it raises questions about sentience and whether or not the rules of man need apply to sentience born of silicon. Eh, that's another matter entirely: I'm worried about Google stuff cuz I've got way too many things in the cloud.
