Yeah, is going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Interesting timing too - right after Google releases a cheap phone for all the Huawei owners to flock to.
@Elnrik Pretty much my thoughts too. They'll probably be more aggressive in other regions like my own to compensate, lol. Huawei is already pretty ubiquitous hereabouts dangit :))
Huawei could be in deep trouble. They are absolutely dependent on US companies for many components that cannot just be sourced elsewhere and their in-house processors are way behind the game.
@DigMe I honestly didn't know that Huawei was so depended on others for their components. Given they're based in Shenzhen where they practically breathe tech I'd have thought they'd be somewhat more autonomous.
