Their site says "New", but Sennheiser website says they are not an authorized dealer.
Yes, they sell used products, so I know they aren't selling them directly from Sennheiser. They could be "like new" or they ran across an unopened product somehow. Just wondering if people have had good/bad experiences with this site.
Tmr are a solid operation, I wouldn't hesitate
Sold a decent bit of gear to them; very professional, highly recommended.
@yotacowboy That's cool, thanks. How much of a hit do you think you take selling to them instead of through the forums?
I had a resonessence concero that was just not selling on the forums, my asking got down to like $200 I think over a month or two. I ended up trading in to them for $150 paypal if I remember. I think I made out well/got lucky considering, but they are a business that has to make a margin too.
I got $400 for a piece that listed for $575 (and funnily: I originally bought it for $400 used). $325 for another piece that listed for $475. And $250 for a piece that listed for $385. And shipping to them was free. Though you have the option of shipping on your own dime, I'm pretty sure TMR are getting better shipping rates than I can get.
One other nice thing they do: they give you the option of receiving payment as either Goods and Services with no inspection required, or Friends and Family after the gear passes inspection.
We have used TMR before to help us sell a bunch of our older 2 channel/home theater gear. Went well, very easy to work with them.
So, I bought the 600s, haha. Thanks for all the info, folks.
Friend died, they got his Infinity IRS Betas, he smoked non-stop, their ad said from smoke free environment. Also overcharged another friend for a McCormack DNA amp. So ymmv, I suppose.
