For a variety of reasons, including sound and OCD tendencies, I’m digital only. I can’t imagine worrying that my “identical” copy of an album sounds worse than someone else’s. That said, I really appreciate the tactile nature of vinyl and admire vinyl-heads. But, boy, DACs seem simple relative compared to turntables.
To be clear, my comment isn’t really a criticism of the Sol, in particular. I’ve had the same thoughts reading SHF threads about “hot stampers,” cartridges, TT isolation, etc.
