Schiit has made the Sol unnecessarily difficult to setup.

If you want to start out with vinyl one day i would recommend a Rega turntable to start with they are super easy to setup

I'm plenty clumsy, but from the thread comments it's not the *setup* that worries me.

For a variety of reasons, including sound and OCD tendencies, I’m digital only. I can’t imagine worrying that my “identical” copy of an album sounds worse than someone else’s. That said, I really appreciate the tactile nature of vinyl and admire vinyl-heads. But, boy, DACs seem simple relative compared to turntables.

Schiit screwed up. They have now made an offer that must be making everyone who decided /not/ to be an early adopter squirm with envy!

To be clear, my comment isn’t really a criticism of the Sol, in particular. I’ve had the same thoughts reading SHF threads about “hot stampers,” cartridges, TT isolation, etc.
