    FWIW 'up to 5khz with a smooth roll-off and no break up' is literally my preferred signature 40% of the time - assuming dynamics are fantastic, good bottom-end extension, and fills the room nicely. I am definitely a bit allergic to treble.

    @E_Schaaf 5-5.5Khz is also a really great place to crossover a loudspeaker if you are into treble.

    @ergopower I noticed it when looking at an Eminence woofer on Parts Express and thought it was odd that it had no break-up. Then I googled it some and found out that it's an intrinsic characteristic of all hemp cones.
