Just tell them what's on your mind. Change it for the better - If they are decent and intelligent, though. When some people are under stress they go like super insecure and just fidget
around with no clear communication. Just coming and going which can make the specialists under them uneasy.

Some people go for leadership roles not realizing there is something better out there for them. Work is work, if you are good at it you'll recognize it eventually.

We, me and my colleagues warned them. They ignored us and they are finally seeing the damage (and waste). I will go with the changes. Thing is, I will defend my team and not accept their B.S. We clean up their mess, they have meetings and coffee. Seriously...

Your are actually in the process of creating your way of life. Need to be kind of aware of what you want. When relations get weak or broken by disrespect there might be other options. If one totally undermines people, they'll regret it later probably and learn in the process.

Work relations are usally a more serious agreement. Still an agreement. The same with how much some DAC box should cost. If some consumer wants to get some random expensive DAC that is actually average in sound, they agreed do it and the transaction is done. That's it really.

I will stay as professional as possible. My intention is to stay there at least 18 months to 24 months, to fix my department and to leave them in shambles. Not joking. Once I am gone they will miss me...

Dude, one thing you learn with bad managers: always be one step ahead. Keep the advantage and finish the job.
