That’s the sex! You might want to separate the power supply from the preamp by a foot or two for noise reasons. And aesthetics. Put it back behind or under the shelf out of sight and a foot from other gear. This is what I was advised about power supplies.

Nice. Our units look similar except that I do not have the remote control and a 48 step attenuator.

@Cryptowolf Khozmo’s website doesn’t reflect some of the changes. e.g. 64-step attenuator now avail. It is a good unit so far!

Nice @luckybaer i have my power supply in the shelf underneath tucked in the back. Looks better sitting alone in all its glory IMO. Exciting new purchase!

I wonder if Vidar would be too warm to put next to the Khozmo?

Wood is a decent insulator and poor conductor. If you have an air gap with the Vidar, I imagine it would work out ok.

I like this Khozmo so much that I swapped speakers from my primary system to secondary system - just to keep the Khozmo going.

Cool. I find their site a bit confusing. Do they have a model with switchable outputs? All of the say "Outputs: 2 (for biamping)", which I assume means both are always hot.

@gixxerwimp I don’t think the Khozmo products have switchable outputs. The more upscale Hattor gear might - best to check their site or email w/query.

@gixxerwimp I don’t think Khozmo offers what you are looking for. Goldpoint and Pine Tree Audio offer switchers without gain.

Need to try Khozmo in primary system - in place of OG Freya. That will have to wait until I exhaust myself once Vidar gets here.
