14days in hotel + 7days at home atm I believe, but I don't have a home there, guess things gonna work out eventually. I am going to Jinan University from HK, still debating what audio gear to bring. Tobacco is a must tho, deep cleaned my pipe to bring along with a tin of early morning pipe+ nightcap for quarantine. Mainland tax heavily on cigar but I think pipe tobacco is fine.
@dllmsch smokingpipes.com even got Chinese staff that handle mainland sales. Which I am not shocked on all the Chinese reviews on their website. Worth asking them how it works to send stuff to the mainland. I'm waiting a few months to open my Nightcaps and I'm letting my tins of EMP age a little more since both are two years ATM.
I noticed a lot of Chinese reviews recently as well. It's fascinating that they dug out the pipe tobacco market far across the globe, but it also makes sense that cigar prices are out of touch for most Mainlander's wage, so pipe's gonna rise. When I worked in a cigar shop most mainlander's purchases are north of $2k(multiple boxes of cohiba), seems to be no in between.
