Get it. I wanted an EC BA for more than ten years. Once I was no longer saving up for a house down payment, I made sure I snagged one as soon as one was available for purchase. I don’t regret it. I’d happily sell off a bunch of my other gear if it meant I could keep it or buy it again.

Sometimes you get it and find that you no longer need it.

I did this with a Sony Walkman Professional. A beautiful, sturdy, quality portable deck for recording and playback. But then minidisc entered my life just a few weeks later and I never wanted to see another cassette in my life!

This just came up for me with buying a used Studio B. So far, not regretting it, which absolutely has not always been the case for me when buying $$$ gear and has made me even more grateful for SBAF re: steering me in the right direction. It’s a pretty amazing amp.
