I have felt hats that I put over my tin foil hats (so the aliens can't see that I'm protecting my brain from their mind reading/mind control abilities)

But most of the felt hats that I use are older wool felt, I have a couple crushers and a couple wide brim hats. Nothing stylish like the fedoras or boston hats that the cool kids wear

I have a classic brown fedora from Locke & Co. that I bought in October 2001; I've seldom worn it. But I have an officially-licensed Indiana Jones cotton safari fedora, which is a great sunhat. It just happened to look good on me, and the only hat in the shop that looked better was a straw Borsalino that costed three times the price and is less practical. And, yes, "Last Crusade" is one of my 30 favorite movies.

I own several Optimo beaver felt hats from the Chicago shop. The fit, finish, and service are best in class, but you will pay a premium.

After wearing several other fedora hats, including some used Optimo models, I bought their traveling fedora and it has been worn for 3 seasons (save summer) for the last two years.
