With respect to Reddit, which I've been using less frequently of late but still maintain an account, it's generally a lot of us-v-them-ing, accusations of "LMAO you just want to affirm your purchase of a really expensive piece of gear that measures poorly" or "LMAO you can't afford the stuff I can, get rekt". I tend to ignore the audio stuff there nowadays, too much rage bait and I'm not getting any younger.
I tended to remember r/headphones being very pro-objectivist and saying that anything beyond the O2/ODAC was useless. The DIY tube subs are a bit better though
