Just glad someone can use the boards. I've spent enough time now with GS to know it fits better in my chain/to my preferences, but they're both great DAC's and worth auditioning since they seem so synergy-dependent. Also, getting A1/GS is a good call even if you end up liking LIM since the AD5791 chip will be going the way of the dinosaur soon (whereas the TI 8812 chip used in LIM probably won't).

@internethandle Yep, GS2 is already in the “Last Call” section of Schiit’s product menu and while I think LIM will have better synergy with my system (amp is going to be Rag 1), I still like having the option for an entirely different presentation. I doubt Schiit will ever offer an Yggdrasil this cheaply again.

For what it's worth, I love my GS and don't see changing DACs anytime soon. Tried LIM, Wavelight, and other DACs and nothing else does it for me.

@ChaChaRealSmooth i feel the same about my A2. LIM, Soerkis, Holo Sptring, May, Wavelight, Wavedream even. I’d love to find a dac that I like that’s technically better but I can’t find one. Maybe the Berkeley Labs Alpha DACs. I’d like to hear one of those.

You just might fall in love with the GS boards. I’ve been enjoying mine for 7+ years. Congrats and have fun!
