I bought a brand new 14” MacBook Pro because of this and it kernel panicked in under ten minutes out of the box as a Vanilla device with no external accessories. If I sign out of my MS account and join meetings as a guest, it works on any MacBook I try.

It’s fun to hear our engineers go “We need to escalate your issue to MS to fix this.” But then nothing gets fixed.

"But then nothing gets fixed." Haha sounds familiar.

I'm not a fan of Teams, but it's the only thing the new company uses

Is this something to do with the M2 chip? I have an intel MBP and use Teams for video meetings daily, no issues like that.

My M1 Max was perfect until my MS account was disabled for paternity leave. Once it was reenabled any MacBook I use has the kernel panic issue. All with Apple silicon. M1 and M2 chips. If another person signs in, no kernel panic.

Woah, that is truly bizarre. I hope they get it resolved!

We're also a blended shop with several Mac-to-Windows issues. Teams barely works and my Mac keeps getting kicked from the domain at random times.

At least you guys get a Macbook. I got a six year old Thinkpad with only 8 GB RAM that runs often on max memory and 95% CPU power all the time.

Actually, with the new teams, those in our company with Windows 11 laptops seem to have more problems than us Mac users. :o) But not problem free for both camps.
