Good point! But aren’t the right blue—or maybe a blue-green—and amber complementary colors?

@Claritas well it’s not a painting. :) i have only had one tube amp that had an amber LED and it's the only amp whose LED didn't bother me but was actually pleasing. but it was a proto and the prod vers has a bright red LED.

I believe the color of the LEDs is intentional, not for aesthetics but as a voltage drop, also its a diode so it has additional uses outside being a light!
