Agreed! Give me the just the 10 tracks the artist decided were good enough for the standard release! I don't need the remixes and bonus tracks.

One of the reasons I’m sliding back into CDs a little bit at a time. The bonus tracks can just be nuked off the file server.

You could try sliding the tracks that were on the original album into a playlist of one and title it with the album name.

Solutions for Roon users: Only add the disc with the original version to the library. Or always select Disc 1 before playing. Not sure if similar solutions are possible with the streaming service clients/other players. And even with Roon, it’s a nuisance.
