Try the Natrol brand. It works for the people I know, whereas the generic... The standard recommendation is 0.5mg at 6 P.M. and 0.5 mg at 8. I found that the 6 P.M. dose was too early for me. I take 0.5 at 7, and 1.5 at 9. Experiment and see what works. If you believe in God, try praying before you go to sleep. That helps me more than anything.
Yeah, I had some Natrol around. Took half a 6mg tab before sleep. Did pretty well. The last time I took a quarter tab and I remember it being pretty effective.
Was reading an article about Melatonin supplement, which I do use, a while back. It reminded that the body uses and responds to chemicals like this in *tiny* amounts, and that 5mg, 10mg, etc dosages are a joke. I roughly divide a 3mg capsule in half. I tried thirds, at first, but too much hassle, and the difference is insignificant.
